FAQ
How much do I need to earn to recover from a 50% drawdown?
100%. After your account is cut in half, you need to double what’s left to get back to the starting amount.
Why is the recovery always bigger than the drawdown?
Because the growth percentage is calculated from an already smaller amount. Minus 20% requires plus 25%, minus 80% requires plus 400%.
How do I avoid deep drawdowns?
Limit your risk per trade to 1–2% of your account, always set a stop-loss and don’t increase your position after a losing streak.
